Ruslana har besökt Sverige fyra gånger. Här följer information om när hon var här och vad hon gjorde vid sina besök i Sverige.


Ruslanas första besök I Sverige skedde den 8 juli 2004 kort efter hennes seger i Eurovision Song Contest. Hon spenderade två dagar i Stockholm och mötte Thomas Hedström, vice president för EMI.


Ruslana hade en photo session för tidningen OKEJ. Som filmades av TV 4 Nyheterna som hade ett reportage vid sändningen kl 22.00 om att Energiknippet från Ukraina var på besök i Sverige.


Expressen fotograferade Ruslana vid Kungliga Slottet. Jag, liksom tidningens fotograf fångade henne poserandes framför högvakten. Mina fotografier från detta tillfälle ser ni här på Ruslanas svenska fanclub sida!


Kort därefter blev Ruslana intervjuad i Riksradion innan det bar iväg till en lång natt hos Cosmos studios i Södra Stockholm. Där spenderade Ruslana flera timmar och hela natten med att spela in sången Wild Dances part 2. En fristående uppföljare till vinnarsången Wild Dances.


Ruslana var nöjd med resultatet och beskrev det som fruktfullt och intressant att arbeta i Sverige för en dag.


Senare i slutet av månaden återkom Ruslana för att medverka på Stockholm Pride Festival. Inför en vild publik sjöng hon Wild Dances tre gånger och även sju sånger från hennes album Dyki Tanci.


Den 12 Februari 2005 var Ruslana åter i Sverige. Denna gång för att medverka i Melodifestivalen i Göteborg. Hon sjöng Wild Dances som pausnummer i den första delfinalen. Ruslana möttes av enormt publikjubel. Den vilda publiken ville inte låta henne lämna scenen!


Sedan dess har Ruslana besökt Sverige ytterligare en gång, i mars 2007. Hon mötte då ljustekniker som senare stod för ljussättningen av hennes nya Wild Energy Show som framfördes i Azerbaijan den 2 Februari 2008.

Ruslana´s wild visits to Sweden!


So far she has been in Sweden four times.


Her fist visit took place on the 8 july 2004, shortly after her victory in Eurovision Song Contest. She visited the capital Stockholm.

There Ruslana had a meeting with EMI's Vice President Mr. Thomas Hedström


Ruslana drew attention of local mass media: a report on her visit to Sweden was on the evening news of TV-4 channel which doesn't usually show any news on show business (except for The Rolling Stones tour in Sweden for example). Ruslana also gave an interview on radio and had a photo session for teenagers' magazine "OKEJ".

The next day 9 july she met with one of Swedens biggest newpapers Expressen. They had a photosession at the Royal Palace. The contact of Sweden was there and took these photos of Ruslana with the photographer that can be seen on this section. This took place on the way to the radiohouse where Ruslana had an interview live on national radio.


Ruslana finished her visit to Sweden on Saturday 10 july.

She recorded a song at Cosmos studios Wild Dances part 2 Ruslana was pleased with recording. The work on the song finished at 5 a.m.

About this experience she said:


>>The interesting peculiarity is the sun starts rising at 2 a.m. this time of year in Sweden. That's why you get a really strange feeling from the "morning streets empty as though it was night>>


Working in the Swedish studio was both fruitful and interesting for Ruslana. She could see the real Swedish "white night"!


Later the month Ruslana returned to Sweden and Stockholm to perform at the huge annual Pride Festival. She sang Wild Dances three times along with seven other songs from the Dyki Tanci album.


On the 12th of February, 2005 Ruslana arrived to Geteborg, Sweden to participate in one of five finals of the National Song Contest for Eurovision 2005. She performed in the famous Scandinavium Hall with her well known "Wild Dances". During her performance all the visitors and participants including the hosts of Melodifestivalen in Geteborg stood up and danced together. Even after Ruslana's performance, the audience did not let her leave the stage during the live show.

Earlier that day Ruslana had a press conference with national mass media of Sweden. During the press conference she shared her feelings about Sweden and natinal performers. Ruslana expressed a hope that Sweden may come with new ABBA to impress all Europe. She also wished good luck all participants of the selection song contest and assured that all of the members of Swedesh delegation to Kyiv will be wormly welcomed at ESC-2005.

Since then Ruslana had one more visit to Sweden in march 2007. She met with a proffessional company that later on took care of the lightning effects at her new Wild Energy Show which took place in Azerbaijan in February 2008.
